Capitol Hill Arts Workshop is a community arts center that has been serving the residents of Washington D.C for more than 30 years. The arts center encompasses the importance of art in culture and is passionate about creating a safe space for children and adults alike to practice the arts and continue to learn.
One way Capitol Hill Arts Workshop helps spread the importance of the arts is through education, private music lessons, both youth and adult art classes, and internship programs for college-aged students. Capitol Hill Arts Workshop also participates in many different community outreach programs such as tuition assistance, open space rentals, and even a fun and exciting 50 states project, which is an artistic project involving photography in all 50 states that represents the youth art programs.
